About Me
About Me
My name is Tariq Aziz Chaudhri. I have dedicated many years of my life to serving our community, supporting our Masjid, and working towards a future built on transparency, accountability and unity.
My Story
I am a founding member and former trustee of Edmonton Islamic Centre. Over the years, I have witnessed the sacrifices, generosity and dedication of countless worshippers who helped build our Masjid into the important institution it is today.
My involvement has always been driven by one simple belief: a mosque belongs to the community it serves. Every worshipper, donor, volunteer, elder and young person should feel represented, respected and heard.
Throughout my journey, I have remained committed to honesty, fairness and service. I believe strong leadership requires transparency, accountability and meaningful consultation with the people who support and sustain our institutions.
Why I Am Speaking Out
I care deeply about the future of our community. My goal is not division but positive change. I believe that open governance, fair representation and greater community involvement will help strengthen trust and create a stronger foundation for future generations.
By encouraging dialogue, transparency and accountability, I hope to contribute towards a united and thriving community where everyone feels valued and where decisions are made in the best interests of the congregation.
My Values
My Vision
My vision is simple: a united community, accountable leadership, transparent governance and a mosque that truly reflects the people it serves.
I believe that by working together with sincerity, mutual respect and a shared commitment to our values, we can build a stronger future for our families, our children and generations to come.
